There are several classes of nanostructured materials with different geometrical specifications, morphology, and dimensional ratio. These discrepancies may result in a wide variety of properties and potential applications. To date, numerous synthesis techniques are developed to fabricate these structures, some of which are suitable for the fabrication of a wide range of nanomaterials, but others are just capable to exclusively synthesize special nanomaterials. Some of these methods are simple and cost-effective, but some others are highly expensive and need complex instruments. The selection of synthesis methods depends on the type of materials, applications and sensitivity of final nanoproducts.
International Nanotechnology Olympiad (INO) is an annual competition among university students from different involved countries being held consistently in member economies. Participants propose their competitive ideas and plans as nanotechnology based solutions for problems related to global challenges
